The final and submission!
Introducing type.
Handwritten 'VOGUE'- the poster could be upside down and would still look the right way.
Here, I took away the black outline of the face, leaving the layered colour.
Looks very abstract!
Rotated the heads.
Somehow, makes the faces look a bit sinister!!
A few ideas, playing with brushstroke, colour, layering colour and lay out.
After writing a few more words down that I thought described beauty, I was more motivated and inspired to come up with this idea:
One of my words was SYMMETRICAL.
I want to stay away from the magazine, however I think using beauty may still go towards it.
Started looking at colour vaguely. The idea with beauty and make up, and re-applying over and over. Changed the opacity to make it look layered.
Not within the lines, just a rough to show idea. Though I do like the colours overlapping each other.
