VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS: letter aaay!!

Photo's in the environment:

My partner and I were given the task to look for the letter 'A' around the building.
We made our own rules to go by, to make sure that we had a series of the same type of 'A'.

This system was that the 'A' had to be capital and a solid letter. (eg. on a poster/wall- not made up of furniture)
We also took the photograph at different angles, so the letter was not upright every time.

Once we had our hundred images, we cropped the photographs, so that the letter was close up and near the middle of the frame.

Some of the letters came out blurred, as this was to do with the size of the actual letter (when it was small, the camera couldn't define it as well as he larger 'A's')
But as it still has the same system to the rest of the images, it doesn't look too much out of place.

We had to print off the images for the lesson, but did this in black and white, which doesn't do the series justice, as detail was lost and in colour, the letters stand out much more.
